A few hours after being fined $25,000 by the NBA for "attempting to influence the officiating," Warriors coach Mark Jackson was ... "thankful."

After reading the verbiage of the fine, Jackson said he is "extremely thankful that (he was) not fined for criticizing the referees."

Semantics or not, Jackson didn't seem bothered by having to shell out money for comments he's made since Game 5.

"I don't like it and I disagree and that will take care of itself, but at the end of the day, we have a game at 7:30 and I'm excited about the opportunity that this team has in front of it," Jackson said.

When informed of how Jackson's fine was worded, Nuggets coach George Karl played it safe.

"Interesting interpretation," he said. "I'm not going to bite on that one."
