OAKLAND – Memphis will get a boost to its lineup for Tuesday’s Game 2 vs. Golden State.
After missing the series opener, Grizzlies guard Mike Conley will play as Memphis will try to even its second round series at Oracle Arena, the Grizzlies announced prior to Game 2.
The 27-year-old Conley suffered a facial injury in the first round against Portland. He has not played since April 25, and underwent surgery on April 27. He will be wearing a protective mask after getting plates and screws inserted into his face around his left eye area.
Conley will start. The six-foot-one, 175-pounder was Memphis’ third leading scorer in the regular season, and should also aid in defending the Warriors’ unparalleled backcourt.
