The Warriors boarded their charter flight for New Orleans on Wednesday morning.

While in the air, Draymond Green elected to do something he hadn't done in well over two months:

Tweet a photo of Warriors assistant coach Alvin Gentry asleep.

This isn't the first time the Defensive Player of the Year candidate pulled this stunt.

On Jan. 15, Green tweeted a photo of Gentry sleeping on the team flight to Oklahoma City.

The next day, Gentry got revenge.

Green returned the favor on Jan. 29, and again on Feb. 2.

How did this "war" start. Green provided the full context.

"I'm not gonna throw anybody under the bus but somebody took a picture on one of the flights," Green explained while appearing on his weekly radio show back on Feb. 3 . "And said, 'Yo, we should post it on Twitter, but I ain't posting it on my Twitter.' I was like 'Hey, send the picture to me. I'll post it.' So I posted the picture...

"He (Gentry) said, 'Oh OK. I'm gonna get you back.' Now, that was the weekend right after we had went to Seattle. I feel asleep on that plane with Steph and them and they took a picture of me. I think Coach Kerr sent him (Gentry) the picture. So he posted the picture of me like he had caught me that fast, but he really didn't.

"It was an old picture. He said it was war so it's war. Now he want to threaten me with DNPs (Did Not Play) so I guess I gotta quit ... I can't win that battle."
