After struggling through a 96-91 loss in Game 3 of the NBA Finals Tuesday night, Warriors forward Draymond Green divulged the issue that might be at the root of his problem.
Green is coping with soreness in his back, he told CSN Bay Area’s Rosalyn Gold-Onwude after the game Tuesday night.
His back, Green told Gold-Onwude, is locked up all the time.

Green apparently sustained the injury with 7:01 left in Game 2 at Oracle Arena on Sunday. Airborne in an attempt to block a LeBron James drive to the basket, Green lost his balance when the two collided in midair and dropped several feet, landing on his rump.
Green remained down for a few seconds, clearly in discomfort, but he did not leave the game.
Following the four-plus hour flight to Cleveland on Monday, Green barely participated in the team’s shootaround Tuesday morning.
Green’s status was not reflected on the pregame injury report. He started and played 30 minutes, finishing with seven points, seven rebounds and four assists.
