Back in January, a poll of 24 NBA coaches, assistants and players ranked Andrew Bogut as one of the five dirtiest players in the league.

The Warriors' center took notice and he hasn't forgotten.

He referenced the poll in a tweet posted roughly an hour after the Warriors' win over the Suns on Saturday night.

But his tweet wasn't in reference to anything that happened against Phoenix.

No, he was still thinking about Friday night's contest against Portland.

Bogut wrote: "Interesting no one is talking about a wreckless play from this week. Guess its just the "top 5 dirty" players who are capable. #checkthetape"

Reading between the lines, it appears Bogut was eluding to the play in Friday night's game against Portland in which Warriors' sixth man Andre Iguodala sprained his ankle when Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard dove for a loose ball and Iguodala's ankle got caught underneath Lillard.

The play happened with 1:59 left in the third quarter and with the Warriors leading 106-83. Lillard was called for a foul, and Iguodala stayed in the game to shoot the free throws. But after he missed the second, the Warriors fouled immediately and Iguodala hopped to the locker room and did not return to the game.

“He got me good,” Iguodala told CSNBayArea.com after Friday night's game, referring to Lillard.

An X-ray returned negative, but an MRI revealed a sprained left ankle. On Saturday, the Warriors announced that Iguodala would miss at least two weeks.

“It’s a big deal. It’s a really big deal,” coach Steve Kerr said, before Saturday's game, of Iguodala’s absence. “Andre is so important to everything we do, not only schematically but just emotionally. He settles us down. He’s one of our two captains. He’s one of the guys who just always knows what’s happening on the floor.

“It’s a big loss. But we’ve got a deep team. We’ve got our guys ready to step in for him.”
