After playing the entire first half without making a field goal, Stephen Curry needed only 71 seconds of the second half Saturday night to set a Warriors record for 3-point shots.
Curry tied the franchise record, previously held by Jason Richardson, with his 700th 3-pointer with 11:23 left in the third quarter, and then shattered it when he drained his 701st with 10:49 left in the quarter.
Curry's trey gave the Warriors a 55-45 lead over Memphis at the FedEx Forum.
Richardson needed six seasons to reach 700. Curry is in his fifth season.
