Kobe, who is retiring at the end of the season, received the most All-Star votes this year.
He has won the All-Star Game MVP four times in his 17 prior appearances -- 2002, 2007, 2009, 2011.
His 280 points are the most in NBA history.
Curry, who will be starting his third straight All-Star Game, registered 12 points (4-for-14 FG) and 11 assists in 2014, and 15 points and five assists last year.
