After participating in the Tuesday morning shootaround in Washington, Warriors guard Stephen Curry was upgraded from questionable to probable for the game against the Wizards Tuesday night at Verizon Center.
"Steph looks good," coach Steve Kerr said after shootaround. "He said he's feeling a lot better. We'll see how he is before the game, but it looks pretty good."
Curry tweaked his right foot when he came down on the left foot of Spurs forward Boris Diaw in a victory over San Antonio last Friday in Oakland. Curry was held out of Sunday's game against the Pacers in Indianapolis and initially was listed as questionable for the Wizards.
"I never planned on being out too long, from the get-go," Curry said. "So that's kind of the situation."
Curry said his foot "didn't get worse" after going through a workout on Monday, which he saw as a good sign. Though he wants to go through his usual pregame routine before making a decision, he is optimistic.
"I'm pretty confident I'll be able to do that," Curry said. "But we won't know until tonight."
