Stephen Curry was cleared for non-contact drills on Thursday before participating in an optional morning shootaround, CSNBayArea.com has learned.
The point guard is still listed as day-to-day. His status for Friday's game against the Lakers in Los Angeles is uncertain.
"He's a big-time player and not having him hurts us," coach Mark Jackson said. "(But the) next guy stands up."
The Warriors are 0-2 without Curry, while averaging just 77 points. In eight games with the five-year veteran, the Warriors are 8-2 and average 107.3 points.
Curry, 25, is averaging 19.9 points, 8.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 32.7 minutes a game this year.
