Stephen Curry has defended Mark Jackson plenty since his dismissal from the team.
So you would have expected the former Warriors head coach to endorse his former player -- a worthy candidate -- when asked who deserves to be the 2015 NBA MVP.
It was a surprise to many when Jackson went with James Harden: "If you twisted my arm today, I would probably vote for James Harden."
A day later, it's no surprise that Andrew Bogut -- who does not have a strong relationship with Jackson -- came to Curry's defense.
"Well it was April Fool's Day," Bogut said, according to an ESPN report. "Well what's his name said no. What's that guy's name? Mark? I don't remember his name."
Curry, 27, is averaging 23.8 points, 7.8 assists and 32.9 minutes for the 62-13 Warriors. Harden, 25, is averaging 27.5 points, 7.0 assists and 36.9 minutes per game for the 52-24 Rockets.
