Warriors center Andrew Bogut did not make the trip with the team to Minnesota, where it will play the Timberwolves on Sunday, according to a Warriors spokesman.

Bogut was held out of the team’s 107-101 win against San Antonio due to back spasms and was termed to be out “indefinitely” by coach Mark Jackson. Jackson said there were no red flags to indicate anything long-term, only that they were waiting on more information.

The 7-footer has appeared in 12 of 55 games this year and missed most of those as he recovered from microfracture surgery on his left ankle. He does, however, have a history of back problems.

He missed more than half the 2008-09 season with a stress fracture in his back, a game with a back strain in 2009-10 and five games with a sore back last season.

The team is hopeful he will join the them at some point during the road trip.

Golden State (32-23) begins a five-game road trip Sunday.
