Portland point guard Damian Lillard is headed to the All-Star Game after all.
The Oakland-native will replace injured Clippers' forward Blake Griffin, the league announced Sunday.
Griffin will undergo surgery on Monday for a staph infection in his right elbow.

Despite averaging 21.6 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game this season, Lillard was initially left off the All-Star roster.
It will be the third-year guard's second All-Star Game appearance. He played just under nine minutes in last year's game in New Orleans, scoring nine points and grabbing one rebound.
