Wisconsin is present in the Bay Area this weekend, as the Milwaukee Bucks engage in a rematch with the Warriors on Friday night and the Green Bay Packers take on the Raiders on Sunday.
One foe player, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, stepped outside his normal line of questioning and entered the basketball realm, namely to talk about polarizing NBA superstar Stephen Curry.
The comments were flattering, to say the least, revealing Rodgers as a long-time fan.
"I drove to Detroit and watched him play Wisconsin and Kansas that year in the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight and I remember thinking, 'This guy is going to be unbelievable,'" Rodgers told radio host Adam Schein, via the Journal-Sentinel. "You're just seeing a guy who cares about it so much and puts in the time, and he's changed the game.

"At a time when a player who I have watched over the years, Kobe Bryant, is on the end of his career, you're watching Steph Curry change the game in ways which are really interesting - with his shooting percentage and his ball skills that he obviously works on tirelessly.
"Obviously, the talent, you know, a lot is God-given, but a lot you can really work on. I think we need to appreciate just how good Steph Curry is and then also appreciate the way he goes about his business."
Rodgers, like Curry, is a former first-round pick turned league MVP and world champion.
The All-Pro passer is often heralded as the NFL's best, while Curry receives similar praise.
Rodgers' comments on Curry changing the game may refer to his ability as a deep shooter. The Warriors' guard holds the NBA record for most threes in a seasons with 286, after breaking his own previous record of 272. Entering Friday night's game against the Bucks, Curry is currently on pace for 427 triples this season.
