SAN JOSE – Sharks forward Tyler Kennedy will miss the game against Anaheim on Thursday with a lower body injury, coach Todd McLellan revealed on Wednesday.
Kennedy skated on Tuesday in the Sharks’ first practice after the All-Star break, but was not on the ice on Wednesday.
“He skated well yesterday, and was sore after,” McLellan said.

This is the fourth time the 28-year-old forward has been sidelined. Kennedy missed the majority training camp with an upper body injury, made his season debut on Nov. 6, missed two games with a lower body injury on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2, and was out for 15 games with a left shoulder injury from Dec. 7 through Jan. 10.
In 18 games, Kennedy has four goals and three assists for seven points and a +5 rating.
The Sharks have yet to determine if a player will be recalled from Worcester, according to McLellan, as they currently have 12 healthy forwards.
