Logan Couture had successful surgery on his hand, the Sharks announced on Tuesday.
Couture was hurt in Game 6 of the Sharks' first round series with the Los Angeles Kings in a fight with Mike Richards.
The 25-year-old forward is expected to be ready in time for training camp in September, per general manager Doug Wilson.
"Last week, Logan underwent successful surgery to repair a hand injury suffered in a fight in Game Six of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against Mike Richards," GM Doug Wilson said in a statement. "The procedure went as expected and Logan will be ready for the start of training camp."
