The brawl was ignited when Roussel ran over Sharks goaltender Alex Stalock after Stalock batted the puck out of play. Several Sharks players, including Braun, engaged Roussel after the play. One of the on-ice officials was restraining Braun when Roussel punched him in the face.
Roussel was given a minor penalty for goaltender interference and a game misconduct.
