The Sharks reportedly signed Melker Karlsson to a two-year extension on Friday.
The deal is said to be worth $3.25 million, according to TVA Sports.
Karlsson, 24, played in 53 games for San Jose last season. He scored 13 goals, and notched 11 assists for a point total of 24 over the 2014-15 season.
The young forward had the highest point total of all Sharks that played 70 games or less.
Karlsson last played for Skellefteå AIK of the SHL before signing with the Sharks.
