The Ducks were eliminated by the Predators in Game 7, suffering another early playoff exit.
The winner of the series was set to play the San Jose Sharks in Round 2 in the Western Conference.
After the loss, NHL legend Teemu Selanne updated his Stanley Cup Playoff predictions.
"Tough loss for (Anaheim Ducks), they played well, Rinne was like a wall, only the BEST goalie could stop them and he did.
"Now when (Anaheim Ducks) is out, I have a feeling that this year belongs to (San Jose Sharks) ...just a feeling but They look Strong!"

The Predators team that ousted the Ducks was at the wrong end of a comeback against the Sharks in Game 1.
San Jose pumped in five goals in the third period, winning 5-2.
Selanne had a 23-year pro career, which included a three-year stint with the Sharks and eight seasons in Anaheim. He won a Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007.
Selanne's 684 goals scored ranks 11th all-time. His 255 career power play goals are the third-most in history.
