Havlat did not make the trip to Phoenix, where the Sharks will play the Coyotes at Jobing.com Arena (6 p.m. PST).

The 32-year-old winger took part in the morning skate and pregame warmups on Monday, but did not play in the 5-4 shootout win over Colorado. When asked when Havlat suffered the injury, McLellan said: “Somewhere throughout the day, I guess.
“He didn’t play last game and won’t play tonight. We didn’t bring him on the trip, so we won’t get a true evaluation until we get back tomorrow.”
In 22 games, Havlat has three goals and five assists for eight points and six penalty minutes. He missed the first 12 games of the season recovering from offseason pelvic surgery.
