Chicago Blackhawks netminder Corey Crawford will get the start in goal and Antti Raanta will back him up when the Chicago Blackhawks take on the New York Islanders Thursday night.
This will be Crawford’s first start since he suffered his lower-body injury, which appeared to be a groin pull, on Dec. 8 against the Florida Panthers.
The Sharks will face the Blackhawks for the second time this season on Jan. 5. Their first meeting back on Nov. 17 resulted in a 5-1 Blackhawks win.
