Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford will not face charges for driving while intoxicated stemming from an arrest on March 14th, officials told the Contra Costa Times Wednesday.
"The District Attorney's office has declined to file charges against Jacoby Ford," said Teresa Drenick, Alameda County District Attorney spokeswoman.
Ford was pulled over crossing the Bay Bridge by an Oakland police officer for speeding at 75 mph and having dark tinted driver-side windows.
Ford was then charged with driving while intoxicated after the officer smelled alcohol coming from Ford's car and a series of failed roadside sobriety tests, CHP Officer Sam Morgan told the Contra Costa Times.
Ford's blood alcohol content was disclosed from his public record.
