This is the next in a long line of coaches the Raiders have requested to speak with regarding their vacancy at head coach. They’ve interviewed some, scheduled interviews with others and have declared interest in a few more.
Linehan is the Cowboys’ offensive play caller, but has been a head coach before. He was head coach of the St. Louis Rams from 2006-08, and has been an offensive coordinator at the professional and collegiate level. He had an 11-25 record with the Rams, where he coached two-plus seasons. He was fired after Week 4 of the 2008 season.
