With Nick Foles perhaps sidelined for the rest of the season, the Eagles recently brought in two quarterbacks for workouts.
The Eagles kicked the tires on Terrelle Pryor and Thad Lewis, according to multiple NFL sources.
Pryor, the former dual-threat Ohio State star, started 10 games for the Raiders from 2011-2013 and was most recently with the Seahawks in training camp. Lewis played with the Browns and Bills from 2011-2013, starting a total of six games after going undrafted out of Duke.
Both sources indicated that the team isn’t close to reaching a deal with either quarterback. One source called it simple due diligence.
