ALAMEDA – Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor’s injury status has been the focus of the week leading up to Sunday’s game against Washington. Pryor, questionable with a concussion, isn’t the only Raider uncertain to play.

Defensive end Jason Hunter (quadriceps) and left guard Lucas Nix (ankle) were listed as questionable when the Raiders injury report was announced on Friday.
Hunter missed the week’s practice and seems unlikely to play. Coach Dennis Allen said. Brian Sanford will start at left end if Hunter can’t play. That would be a tough swap for the Raiders, exchanging a run stopper with two sacks in three games for a player with no starts and no sacks.
“Brian can play inside in the nickle package, but he has some pass-rush ability,” Allen said. “He’s athletic enough to play some base defensive end for us, which has been the role he’s played in our defense.”
Nix missed Monday’s game with injury, and the interior line continued to struggle. Andre Gurode was routinely beat by Denver filling in for Nix, yet he would start again if Nix can’t go.
Watson getting close Raiders offensive lineman Menelik Watson worked out on the side Friday and Allen said the rookie nearly recovered from a knee injury. Watson said he had the meniscus in knee surgically repaired.
“I’m hopeful,” Allen said, “that he’s going to be able to practice next week.”
