OAKLAND – Terrelle Pryor is healthy, active and ready to be a backup quarterback. Pryor was demoted after starting eight games this season, losing out to Matt McGloin’s hot hand.

McGloin got an opportunity last week, with Pryor out with a sprained right knee. He capitalized on the opportunity and earned a second straight start on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans at Oakland Coliseum.
Pryor was a limited participant in this week’s practice, was questionable on the injury report and was deemed healthy enough to play.
Raiders coach Dennis Allen said Pryor could play at times this season in a package specifically tailored to his talents.

The Raiders offensive line continues to get stronger, so much so that rookie tackle Menelik Watson was a healthy scratch.
With Pryor healthy, rookie quarterback Tyler Wilson was rendered inactive. Receiver Denarius Moore, running back Darren McFadden, safety Tyvon Branch, guard Lamar Mady and defensive end Jason Hunter will also sit out against the Titans.
