Charles Woodson is 38 years old, but one more year playing safety in Oakland appears to be a very real possibility.
"If he's all in -- 100 percent -- I want him back," GM Reggie McKenzie said on SiriusXM NFL Radio Wednesday evening.
McKenzie, who plans to sit down face-to-face with Woodson in the near future, indicated that he has already discussed the veteran's potential return with new head coach Jack Del Rio.
"It's going to be totally up to Charles... And the new coaching staff," McKenzie said.
The Raiders on Wednesday hired Marcus Robertson as their defensive backs coach, a move Woodson wanted, according to Insider Scott Bair.

Woodson, a 17-year NFL veteran and eight-time Pro Bowler, is coming off a strong season with Oakland. He totaled 82 tackles, four interceptions, one sack, one fumble recovery and eight passes defended.
Woodson's 60 career NFL interceptions rank 11th in NFL history.
Currently an unrestricted free agent and free to sign with any team, Woodson is coming off a one-year, $2.5 million contract with Oakland.
