The Raiders are on the hunt to fill out Jack Del Rio’s coaching staff. Expect a mad scramble to land top assistants over the course of the next week-plus, and the Raiders will be in the thick of it all trying to land the best fits for each job.
Most incumbent Raiders assistants had contracts expire last week. It’s uncertain whether a select few, or possibly none at all, will be retained off of Dennis Allen/Tony Sparano’s staff.
Here’s a list of reported movements regarding the assembly of Del Rio’s staff:
OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR
Jan. 18: Former Bears head coach Marc Trestman will interview for the offensive coordinator opening in Oakland. (NFL Network)
Jan. 18: The Raiders have permission to speak with Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase, but does not report that an interview has been scheduled. (NFL Network)
Jan. 18: ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave is a contender to become the Raiders offensive coordinator. Musgrave was offensive coordinator for Del Rio in 2003-04 in Jacksonville.
DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR
Jan. 19: The Raiders are slated to interview former Jets and Browns head coach Eric Mangini to be there defensive coordinator. (NFL Network)

Jan. 19: Longtime special teams coach Joe DeCamillis was in Oakland on Monday to interview for this post. (ESPN)
OFFENSIVE LINE
Jan. 17: Source confirms reports that Mike Tice is expected to be the team’s offensive line coach. He was under contract with Atlanta, but he has been freed from that deal.

Jan. 11: Incumbent QB coach John DeFilippo is exploring outside options. NFL Network reports that DiFilippo interviewed to be the Browns offensive coordinator.
