Editor's note: NBC Sunday Night Football color commentator Cris Collinsworth was asked if he believed the Raiders have a mini quarterback controversy. Below is a transcript of his response:
"A little bit.
"But I think the controversy goes beyond the two guys we're still talking about now, I think the controversy also extends to the, 'Are we going to take a QB with our first-round draft pick?' So those are big franchise-changing decisions that are going to be made.
"The nice thing, the Raiders standpoint is unlike in years past. If you took the first-round draft pick that was a QB, you had to invest so much money in those guys, that if you missed on them, on that pick, that it set your franchise back four or five years.
"Now with the rookie weight scale, you can fire that bullet, take a shot and you don't have to put your franchise in so much debt that you can never recover from it.
"I would be surprised if the Raiders don't take a shot at that franchise QB if they think there's one there."
