The Chargers on Friday announced the four-year extension for star wideout Keenan Allen.
The deal keeps the pass catcher in San Diego through 2020.
The contract is reportedly worth up to $49 million with $20 million fully guaranteed, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Allen, 24, has caught 215 passes for 2,554 yards and 16 touchdowns in 37 career games.
The Cal product was a third-round pick, No. 76 overall, by the Chargers in 2013. He has yet to start a full 16 games over his three years in the league.
