ALAMEDA -– D.J. Hayden was optimistic that a groin strained late in Sunday’s loss to the Denver Brown was minor. He termed it a “little tweak,” which was apparently big enough to keep the Raiders cornerback out of Wednesday’s practice.
Last year’s No. 12 overall picked worked on a side field and was running well, but his status for Sunday’s game at San Diego remains in question.
The same can be said about right tackle Menelik Watson who skipped practice with a concussion. He has not yet been cleared to practice or play.
In addition, right tackle Gabe Jackson and Carlos Rogers missed practice due to knee injuries.
The Raiders will clarify injuries after Wednesday’s practice.
