Jessup led 5-0 through the first 4:20 of the game. The official TV timeout at 15:40 seemed to wake up Saint Mary's, as it went on a 15-3 run en route to a 36-20 halftime advantage to take control of the game.
The Gaels poured it on in the second half, after an 18-0 run opened the score up. William Jessup went 5:32 early in the frame without scoring.
