SAN JOSE -- San Jose State has dismissed incoming freshman defensive back Bomani Bassette-Hairston from the program following an undisclosed on-campus incident.
Coach Ron Caragher said Friday that after a thorough review he decided it was best that Bassette-Hairston leave the program.
Caragher said he wishes Bassette-Hairston the best in the future.
This is the second time in July that San Jose State has dismissed an incoming freshman player.
On July 18, freshman wide receiver Kanya Bell Jr. was let go by the program after being arrested and booked for an on-campus domestic battery charge.
