Kings owner Vivek Ranadive tweeted out that President Barack Obama believes center DeMarcus Cousins should be an NBA All-Star.
Ranadive is in his native India with the President, as well as a business delegation including top CEOs.
Cousins is in the top five in the NBA in scoring and rebounding. He is also tied with Nikola Vucevich of the Magic and Pau Gasol of the Bulls for the league lead with 26 double doubles.
While Cousins was not voted into the All Star game as a starter, the results of the All Star reserves vote tally by NBA coaches will be revealed on Thursday.
