Kings waive guard Aaron Brooks

The Sacramento Kings waived guard Aaron Brooks on Friday, according to Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.

Brooks, a 6-0, 161-pound guard, averaged 8.0 points (.459 FG%, .378 3FG%, .769 FT%), 1.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 20.8 minutes per game in 46 contests, of which he started 20 for the Kings.

Brooks is expected to sign with the Houston Rockets whom he played with from 2007-2011 according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Kings roster now stands at 13 players.
