SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento Kings announced today that the team has acquired a second round draft selection in the 2016 NBA Draft from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for guard Ray McCallum, according to Kings Vice President of Basketball and Franchise Operations Vlade Divac.
“The Kings organization is grateful to Ray for his contributions over the last two seasons,” said Divac. “We wish him and his family great success moving forward.”
McCallum was selected by Sacramento in the second round (36th overall) of the 2013 NBA Draft. In 113 total games over two seasons with the Kings, McCallum averaged 6.9 points (.414 FG%, .329 3PT%, .701 FT%) and 2.7 assists in 20.6 minutes per game. The 6-3, 190-pound guard posted career highs in points per game (7.4), field goal percentage (.438), and minutes per game (21.1) in 68 contests during the 2014-15 season.
