George Karl took to Twitter to thank Sacramento fans for their support, this after indicating last week that if the Kings had interest in him, he'd be interested in them.

Karl, among others, was rumored to be a candidate to replace head coach Michael Malone, who was fired on December 14.

Tyrone Corbin has taken over in Sacramento on an interim basis.
General manager Pete D'Alessandro has pledged full support for Corbin, but has stopped short of naming him the coach for the rest of the season.
After losing his first two, Corbin won his first game as the interim coach on Sunday after the Kings defeated the Lakers 108-101 on Sunday at Sleep Train Arena.
Sacramento (12-15) is at Golden State (22-3) Monday.
