The Kings will be without DeMarcus Cousins against the Bucks Wednesday night after his ill-advised swing of the arm aimed between O.J. Mayo's legs Monday; the star center was slapped with a one-game suspension Wednesday afternoon.

After the Kings' loss to the Mavericks, Mayo ripped Cousins:
“That guy has some mental issues, man,” Mayo said. “He’s a talented player. He has an opportunity to be the face of that organization, but I don’t think he wants it. He’s immature, man. Big maturity problem. Hopefully, he’ll grow up out of it and become great. He definitely has the talent to.”

Cousins has since responded:
“I heard,” Cousins said of Mayo's comments. “This coming from a guy that doesn’t have a great image himself. So what does his really mean? I’m fine with it. ... Is he a franchise player? So how is he going to tell me what I am?”

Cousins, 22, was suspended for two games earlier this season after a postgame altercation with Spurs analyst Sean Elliot.
The third-year big man is averaging 17.2 points, 9.9 rebounds and 30.7 minutes per game.
