In the first returns of balloting for the NBA All-Star Game, the Kings' DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay finished in the top 15 for frontcourt votes.
Cousins racked up the seventh most votes (117,003) for the Western Conference's frontcourt, while Gay registered the eleventh most votes (51,873).
The 24-year old center leading the Kings with 23.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game, despite missing ten games due to viral meningitis. Gay is averaging 20.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis garnered the most votes (524,623) among Western Conference frontcourt players, followed by Blake Griffin (307,908) and Marc Gasol (227,554).
Warriors guard Stephen Curry registered the second most votes (549,095) in the NBA, trailing only LeBron James (552,967).
Kobe Bryant (521,542 votes) received the second most votes among Western Conference guards, while James Harden (336,998), Chris Paul (257,528) and Rajon Rondo (107,366) checked in at No. 3 through No. 5 respectively.
Klay Thompson (90,957), Russell Westbrook (84,686), Damian Lillard (82,884), Jeremy Lin (77,276) and Tony Parker (50,287) rounded out the Top 10.
In the Eastern Conference, John Wall (299,209) and Dwyane Wade (265,917) received the top two spots among guards, with James, Carmelo Anthony (265,170) and Pau Gasol (247,953) leading the way in the frontcourt.
Fans vote for two backcourt and three frontcourt players.
Balloting concludes on Monday, Jan. 19, and the starters will be announced live on Thursday, Jan. 22.
The 64th NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday Feb. 15 at Madison Square Garden.
