Left-handed pitcher Jonathan Sanchez may end up pitching for his former team's biggest rival.

According to a report, Sanchez and the Dodgers, a team dealing with a plethora of pitcher injuries, are close to agreeing on a contract.

Sanchez is best known for his 2009 no-hitter with the Giants and was part of the 2010 team that won San Francisco's first World Series. He was traded to the Kansas City Royals following the 2011 season for Melky Cabrera.

Sanchez went 38-46 with a 4.26 ERA with the Giants and owns a lifetime 4.70 ERA spanning eight seasons and four teams.
