In their pursuit of an everyday third baseman, the Giants have turned their attention to Marlins third baseman Casey McGehee.
The two clubs are talking about a deal that would bring McGehee to San Francisco, according to Fox Sports.
Names being discussed in the deal are reliever Hunter Strickland and infielder Matt Duffy.

The 32-year-old McGehee hit .287 with 29 doubles, four home runs and 76 RBI in 2014 for the Marlins.
McGehee is arbitration-eligible and according to MLb Trade Rumors' projections, is expected to make $3.5 million in 2015.
