The Giants are among the teams in the mix for Orioles free agent outfielder Nick Markakis, according to CBS Sports.
The other teams reported to have interest in the veteran are Baltimore, the Atlanta Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Giants are also on the short list of teams courting expensive free agent starting pitcher Jon Lester, who met with Giants brass on Monday in Atlanta.

Markakis, 31, hit .276 with 14 home runs and 50 RBI, taking home his second career Gold Glove in 2014.
The nine-year veteran has spent his entire career in Orange and Black since he was selected by the Orioles with the seventh overall pick in 2003, collecting at least 10 home runs and 50 RBI every season.
