The Dodgers agreed to a four-year contract with free agent pitcher Brandon McCarthy, according to a Fox Sports report.
McCarthy opened the 2014 season with the Diamondbacks, but was traded to the Yankees in July.
He went 3-10 with a 5.01 ERA over 18 starts in Arizona, and 7-5 with a 2.89 ERA over 14 starts in New York.
McCarthy made 43 combined starts for the A's in 2011 and 2012, compiling a 17-15 record to go along with a 3.29 ERA.
As of now, the Dodgers' 2015 expected starting rotation is comprised of Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke, Hyun-Jin Ryu, McCarthy and a fifth starter to be determined...
