SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Giants have re-signed right-handed pitcher Ryan Vogelsong to a one-year contract, the team announced on Wednesday. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.
Vogelsong, 36, spent his third consecutive campaign with San Francisco last season and went 4-6 with a 5.73 ERA in 19 starts. He missed nearly three months of the season with a fractured right hand, suffered when he was hit by a pitch by the Nationals’ Craig Stammen on May 20. Following his return from the disabled list, he went 2-2 with a 4.55 ERA in his final 10 starts.
