The San Francisco Giants have activated OF Hunter Pence from the 15-day disabled list.
He missed the first 36 games of the season with a fractured left forearm.
Pence suffered his injury in the Giants' third spring training game on March 5 after getting hit by an inside fastball from Cubs' RHP Corey Black. The Giants right fielder went 5-for-17 with two HRs and five RBI in five rehab games with triple-A Sacramento (38.0 innings in right field).

The 2014 All-Star batted .277 with a career-high 106 runs scored along with 29 doubles, 10 triples, 20 home runs and 74 RBI in 162 games, completing his eighth big league season, his second full season with the Giants. Entering the season, he had an active consecutive games played streak of 383, the third-longest streak in Giants history.
The Giants also optioned C Hector Sanchez to triple-A Sacramento. He was just 6-for-31 (.194) at the plate and had made four starts (all at catcher) this season. The 25-year-old switch-hitting catcher had his 2014 season cut short due to a pair of concussions sustained in late July and early August.
He appeared in just 66 games with the Giants and batted .196.
