As details emerge, it is becoming increasingly clear that Pablo Sandoval spurned the world champion San Francisco Giants.
The Giants' final offer for Sandoval, vice president and assistant GM Bobby Evans revealed on Yahoo SportsTalk Live on Monday, was a five-year, $95 million contract that included a club option for a sixth year and a willingness to go up.

After winning his third World Series title in five years with San Francisco, Sandoval indicated he wanted to retire with the Giants and that he would follow his heart in free agency.
But Sandoval on Monday chose to join the Boston Red Sox.
