Former Giants pitcher Kevin Correia has agreed to return to the Giants on a minor-league deal, the team confirmed to CSNBayArea.com on Tuesday evening.
The Mariners signed Correia in early March, but he gave up five earned runs and six hits over 2.2 innings pitched in three appearances. He was released at the end of March.
Correia started his career in San Francisco and was a member of the Giants for six seasons. He went 14-22 and posted a 4.59 ERA over 170 appearances.
The 34 year-old last played for the Dodgers and had previous stints with the Twins, Pirates and Padres.
