The Giants and Brandon Belt avoided arbitration by agreeing on a one-year deal, CSNBayArea.com has confirmed.
The deal is reportedly worth $3.6 million, according to a CBSSports.com report.
Belt, who will turn 27 in April, made $2.9 million in 2014.
Over 61 regular season games last year, he hit .243 with 12 home runs and 27 RBI.
In 17 postseason contests, he hit .295 with a .397 OBP, and registered eight RBI.
His one playoff home run: A solo shot in the Top of the 18th inning that lifted the Giants to a 2-0 series lead over the Nationals in the NLDS.
