NAPA -- Jacoby Ford was back a practice on Saturday after missing five days and four practices with an unspecified muscle strain in his left leg.
Such injuries are typical early in camp, yet the injury is troubling for a Raiders wide receiver who missed most of the last two seasons with foot problems and is considered injury prone.
Dennis Allen said the issue was minor, but Ford said earlier in camp that each practice is crucial for him to get back in the flow with new quarterback Matt Flynn. The two are farther along than most after working together this offseason at Laney College in Oakland, but more time is needed to build a solid rapport.
Ford moved around without incident in the early portions of Saturday's padded practice, but he frequently stretched out his left hamstring and calf between plays.
Allen will speak with the press following the afternoon session.
