Raiders top draft pick DJ Hayden was removed from the non-football injury list Friday morning in time to participate in the team's opening training camp practice.

The cornerback drafted No. 12 overall passed a team-administered physical Friday morning and was cleared for activity. He will be a limited participant and is wearing a red non-contact jersey (as quarterbacks do) during the practice, which is being conducted without pads.
Second-round pick Menelik Watson remains on the non-football injury list and is working with a trainer on a side field. His injury has not been disclosed.
Hayden, 23, signed his four-year rookie contract on Thursday in order to avoid a holdout.
