Veteran kicker Billy Cundiff is scheduled to work out for the 49ers on Tuesday as they audition possible replacements for struggling David Akers, a source told CSNBayArea.com
Free-agent kicker Justin Medlock is also expected to take part in the tryout.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday the 49ers might sign a kicker and keep Akers on the 53-man roster, too.
